Loews Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana

Located in the Central Business District close to the Mississippi River, the luxurious Loews New Orleans Hotel boasts some of the largest guest rooms in the city. A high rise building with some 285 oversized rooms, Loews is considered one of the premiere hotels in the city and is a favorite with both business and leisure travelers.

Guests have several styles of guest rooms from which to choose including those with either one king bed or two queen beds. Depending on their location within the building, rooms provide views of the river, the French Quarter, or the Downtown district. In-room amenities include luxurious bed linens and high thread count sheets, upscale bath products, robes, hairdryer, CD players, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, mini bar, and TV with on-demand movies. There’s also high-speed internet access, a large desk, 2 phones including a speaker phone, and 2 separate phone lines.

   

 

  


There are also a handful of suites available, which include separate eating and dining areas. All suites connect to a double queen room for more sleeping area, if desired. There’s also a large work space in each, ideal for business travelers.

Amenities at the Loews New Orleans Hotel include a spa and fitness center, which features an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, and sauna. The spa offers a full menu of pampering spa services including facials, body treatments, massage, nail services, and waxing. Special spa packages that include two or more services can be purchased, and groups, including bridal parties, are welcome at the spa. Yoga instruction is also available as are additional wellness services including counseling/coaching sessions.

Laundry and dry cleaning services are also available at this hotel, child care can be arranged when necessary, and valet parking is offered to all guests at an additional fee per night. A small business center is located on site as well.

Guests of Loews New Orleans Hotel who want to grab a bite to eat without leaving the premises can head to Café Adelaide, a bistro reminiscent of the 50s and 60s serving cuisine with a Creole flair. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers a limited menu at the bar during hours when the restaurant is closed in preparation for the next meal. Also on site is the Swizzle Stick Bar, which boasts a Key West atmosphere. Live entertainment is offered on Friday and Saturday and the bar is open from 11 am to 11 pm, serving a variety of tropical and traditional drinks.

Loews New Orleans Hotel offers about 17,000 square feet of function space that can accommodate a variety of social or business events. For meetings, companies can choose a small board room or a conference-style facility offering state-of-the-art audio visual equipment including high-speed internet service in each room. Catering can be organized, if desired.

For weddings, the hotel’s Louisiana Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 individuals for a reception, but also offers more intimate venues as well. An onsite wedding coordinator is available to help organize each aspect of the day’s events as well as pre- and post-wedding dinners or breakfasts.
