Lucy's is a surfer themed restaurant / bar that has two locations: one in downtown New Orleans, and one Uptown (one of the major living areas that has reopened since the Hurricane). I got the pictures here from the downtown one, but the menu and atmosphere is basically the same. It was founded by several ex-surfers, and the interior is plastered with surfboards, fish, and random beach-themed stuff. Many of the drinks are tropical-type stuff made with lots of fruit.
Lucy's has reopened since the Hurricanes, but they are on a limited menu. It's generally Mexican food combined with burgers and some random stuff like shrimp po-boy's and chicken fingers. You can view the full menus here on their website, and they've got a different one for lunch and dinner. Most of it is in the $6-$10 range, so it's a pretty cheap meal. The chicken fingers are good, and so are the various kinds of tacos they've got. It's great for casual lunches or hanging out.

The interior, with a bar where you can eat from or tables depending on your preference. There's another side area in the backed so it's bigger than this picture shows.
