This is a very small park that sits along the Mississippi River, and while it's not really a place that I would bother going out of my way to get to, it is right next to the Aquarium of the Americas and near the Riverwalk, so if you want a nice place to sit down with a good view while you're over there you can stop here. It's also pretty close to the French Quarter if you've been walking around there.
The guy they named it after, Malcolm Woldenberg, was a prominent Jewish philanthropist who endowed a number of hospitals and charitable organizations in New Orleans. They also have the New Orleans Holocaust Memorial right next to the park, and I presume that's the connection between the two.
Trees in the Woldenberg Park in New Orleans, LA - some of the grass is dead, but give us a break, we've got more important things to fix.
